The entry into force of the new legislation on 03.06.2023 is of great importance for farmers and the investment and construction process.
It is an amendment aimed at overcoming administrative barriers and facilitating construction investments. Thanks to the new changes, it will be possible to build larger silos by application, with a capacity of up to 250 m³ and a height of up to 15m. This will speed up the development of agricultural production. An important point of the amendment is the possibility to build grain storage facilities of up to 5,000t within the boundaries of seaports. This is a step in developing port infrastructure and improving food security.
The amendments bring administrative simplification and lower investment costs. It is enough to report the construction and submit technical documentation taking into account the safety and load-bearing capacity of the structure.
