Marek Turcza acquired his professional experience working in law firms and in the legal department of a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. During his career, he held positions on the supervisory boards of capital companies, as well as on the supervisory board of the investment fund society. He is also active as an entrepreneur, acting, among others, as the president of the management board of an investment company.
During his professional career, he has provided legal services in the implementation of international private equity projects, participated in acquisition and merger processes as well as in bankruptcy proceedings – including the resolution of a company listed on the WSE.
He provides legal services with respect to M&A as well as real estate transactions. He has taken part in numerous language courses and training workshops in the field of Legal English. He graduated from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, completed the Course in Translation of Specialized Texts – the English section, and obtained the FCE and CAE certificates:. Furthermore, he is constantly improving his language skills.
He completed his MBA studies at the Wielkopolska Business School at the Poznan University of Economics, as well as a Post-graduate course for Tax Experts and Advisers, conducted by the Institute of Tax Studies Modzelewski and Wspólnicy Sp. z o.o. On top of this, he completed postgraduate studies in the field of Bankruptcy Law, in order to obtain the license of a trustee.
Mr. Turcza’s areas of expertise include civil and business law, with particular emphasis on contracts and commercial transactions, real estate, bankruptcy and restructuring law.
He is a fan of literature and cinema, especially in their original English language versions. In addition to this, he enjoys travelling and motorbike touring in his spare time.
